Barn Footpath
This photo shows the public footpath that passes the Barn and the Cottage. If you are visiting the cottage in the winter please bring some boots as it can get muddy. Behind where this picure was taken the path leads to the woods shown below….
Through the Wood
This picture shows the footpath going through the wood behind the Cottage. Its great for the dog – off the lead.
More Wood!
The Footpath leads to Lower Southrepps and the BoardWalk.
The Boardwalk
A small stream, a tributary to the River Ant runs through the middle of Southrepps Common. Either side of the stream are water meadows which have wonderful diversity of flora and fauna. The area is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). As can see from the photograph a path has been constructed which makes the meadows passable throughout the year. Here is a link for more information.
Trunch Public Footpath
This track is a public footpath that leads away from Warren Barn and the Cottage towards Trunch. Turning right just past Marlow takes you towards the coast – it is approximately 3 miles almost all of which is on public footpaths.
